It's Not About the Score

Don't get us wrong—we care about the winners…but to us, that means the people who will benefit by the charities we support. The VW Credit charity golf event last year raised more than $27,000 that we distributed to several charities:

Primary Charities

• The George C. Nisbet Foundation
• Camp 'I Am Me'
• Pediatric Alternatives in Creative Therapy (PACT)

Other charities we donated to:

• Childrens' Memorial Hospital
• St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
• Lake County PADS

We thank the more than 30 sponsors and dozens of VCI employees who donated cash and prizes last year. Nearly 130 golfers and a dozen volunteers participated last year in the scramble-format tournament at the Bonnie Brook Golf Club in Waukegan. (Some photos on this site were provided by Bonnie Brook.) We're returning to Bonnie Brook on Friday, Sept. 5 this year, and we hope you will join us.

Every golfer in the 2007 charity golf event had a shot at winning a new Audi and two Volkswagens with a total value of more than $100,000. This year, we again plan on offering chances to win a VW and/or an Audi on regular Par 3 holes. We hope that you can join us as a sponsor, a golfer, or both!
